Introduction
The department of physics offers a programme leading to Doctor of Philosophy degree in Physics. The programme is offered by elective (or specialization) courses, examinations and thesis in the fields of photovoltaics, condensed matter physics, superconductivity and theoretical physics.
Objectives The objectives of the programme:
- To enable the candidates to acquire an adequate understanding of the principles of physics and to contribute to the advancement of this subject.
- To enable the candidates to conduct an original investigation (or research) leading to thesis work.
